Jack and Charlie Café Initiative: The Talk of the Town


Jack and Charlie Café and Grill has taken a great initiative on account of International Day of Disabled Persons and launched the Braille food menu card for visually impaired people. It is the first eatery in Pakistan to introduce a propelling Braille Food Menu that obliges the requirements of individuals who are visually impaired or have a dream disability.


All over the world, restaurants do offer a braille menu for the special people but something like this has never been seen before anywhere in Pakistan. The innovative step has been taken by this restaurant located in located in DHA – Karachi to facilitate blind persons or people with vision impairment.


The restaurant has been famous for quite a long time for their mouthwatering delicious food. The initiative will help blind persons to easily order their favorite dish from the menu on their own, without depending on someone else to read out the menu card.


To introduce this new menu, they invited over a few visually impaired people so that they could experience this and give their feedback on this. Not only this but they offered 20% discount on the entire menu for the disabled.
